The World Recreation Association of the Deaf, a nonprofit public benefit corporation since 1985, is happy to present the 25th Anniversary Masquerade Ball on Wednesday night July 21, 2010, a buffet dinner and dancing, from 5pm until 9pm at Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas. We will have cash prizes for the best costumes and/or mask that goes along with Treasure Island Theme of Caribbean Pirates. We will have a Deaf-run Live Band with DJ music and entertainment. WRAD is happy to support Miss Deaf International Pageant and the Contestants have been invited to the WRAD Masquerade Ball to meet with our guests as part of our entertainment program.

    6. Cheese Tortellini, Tomato Cream Sauce and Spinach

    10. Served with Fresh Brewed Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, and Assorted Teas

The event is the Masquerade Ball and everyone is asked to bring their own masks as we will have cash prizes for the best masks at the Ball.

Both Anthony Natale, a deaf actor, and Liz Tannebaum, a deaf actress, will be the Master of Ceremonies at the Masquerade Ball.

Tickets are selling fast and hope you will go to the Masquerade Ball as it is going to be a very FUN event, especially at the Treasure Island which has a Caribbean-Pirate theme. After the Masquerade Ball, there will be a social event by the swimming pool area of Treasure Island for people attending DeafNation World Expo. There will be entertainment at the Masquerade Ball including deaf and hard of hearing performers as well as cash prizes for the masks.
