This exciting big deaf awareness event has been staged at Universal
Studios Hollywood for many years now since the mid- 1980s. Universal Studios
Hollywood once again is happy to join WRAD, Inc., their families and
friends for a day of fun at Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday October 16th, 2010.
There are MANY exciting attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood
including the Studio Tour, the NEW King Kong exhibit with 3-D, Mummy- the Ride, as well as swinging into action with
Shrek 4-D, and immerse yourself in the movie action in Terminator 2:3D, get
wet in Water World, enjoy Back to the Future Ride, watch live animals in
action, and much more.

Printed photo scripts and sign language interpreters will be available
for the Studio Tour and Sign Language interpreters at select shows on October
16th. Check show schedule for times at the WRAD Table by the entrance to the
Theme Park.
Adults save $17.99 if tickets are purchased in advance through WRAD, Inc.
The tickets are only $52 per person (General Admission is $69.99 if purchased
at the door). Children 2 and under admitted FREE. A portion of the proceeds
benefit WRAD, Inc.

Advance ticket purchase deadline is October 14, 2010. Make Money Order,
Cashiers Check and Business or Organization Checks Payable to WRAD, Inc and mail
to WRAD, PO Box 3211, Quartz Hill, California 93586. PERSONAL CHECKS
ACCEPTED BEFORE October 5, 2010. Be sure to include your name, address, phone/email as
well as number of tickets at $52 you wish to purchase. Credit card payments
are accepted through Paypal at the WRAD website at www.wrad.org
All purchased tickets will be picked up at the WRAD Registration Table
by the entrance gate at Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday October 16th
between 9:30am and 1:00pm.
Discount tickets at $52 rate will not be available on October 16th so you
MUST purchase discount $52 rates before October 16th.
There will be a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Gathering at SaddleRanch
Chophouse Restaurant at Universal Studios Hollywood CityWalk from 6pm until
closing at 2am. Admission is free.
Directions to Citywalk
From the 101 South towards Hollywood:
Take the Lankershim exit and make a left turn off of the ramp onto Cahuenga Boulevard until you reach Universal Studios Boulevard. Make a left onto Universal Studios Boulevard and proceed up the hill to the entrance to CityWalk.
From the 101 North towards Ventura:
Exit Universal Studios Boulevard, and make a right off of the freeway. Proceed up the hill to the entrance to CityWalk.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA):
There is a subway station at Universal City, on the Metro Red Line.
Across the street from the subway station is a free shuttle bus. This free
shuttle will conveniently take you to CityWalk Hollywood and Universal
Studios Hollywood. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes during the
following hours:
