Hi Friends of the WRAD Community!

Hi there! We have plenty of ground to cover about some of the exciting new events and activities. They are as follows:

1. Our Masquerade Ball is going very well on July 21st at Treasure Island in Las Vegas as we have added the Beethoven's Nightmare Group (The world's only deaf live concert band) to perform at our event along with other surprises for you. We sold about 300 tickets and have about 200 left so please order your tickets soon if you are planning to attend as we are not going to sell them at the door. Last day to buy is July 10th but do it sooner in case we are sold out. Tickets are $70 per person until July 1st then prices go up to $75 until July 10th. 2. WRAD is happy to support the International Deaf Beach Sports in Rota, Spain from August 12-16, 2010. Hundreds of people are expected there with different beach activities including trophies to the winners. Look at this website to get more details in English about the event.

   Fans and players are welcome to stay there at a very low cost. (The Pavilion is offered as a place for people to sleep with bathrooms) There will be a big Deaf Festival with two world famous performances by Deaf Rave and Signmark on Sunday night August 15th. Do not miss it!

3. WRAD is happy to be in a partnership with Deaf Cruises to have a cruise in Hawaii from July 2-9, 2011 visiting four islands. Please go to this website to get more details: www.deafcruisewrad.com There will be fun activities and other events for the deaf on this cruise. Deposit is only $250 per person and if you are an AARP member, you can have a 5% discount of the cruise. The ship The Norwegian " Pride of America" will leave Honolulu on July 2nd and return a week later to the same port.

4. We are looking forward to the next Summer Deaflympics in Athens, Greece in 2013 and share more details about WRAD events there later. We are also going on a cruise from Rome, Italy to Athens on a 7 or 10 day cruise so please check our website at www.deafcruisewrad.com about the future cruise in Greece. Deposit is $350 per person.
