It is almost summer and I hope it is going to be an enjoyable one for you all including participating in our events and activities!

First of all, we are happy to announce that as a Clear Blue member of the ZVRS (formerly known as CSDVRS) Relay service, we are selling the exciting new Z-340 portable videophone that is very lightweight that delivers high-quality video over broadband or WiFi connections for only $99 per unit. You will be able to make video relay calls through WRADVRS from the Z340 videophone. Of course you can call your deaf friends on the videophone too. I used it when I was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for my holiday recently and talked with my deaf stepmother in San Diego with the Z340 unit. It was amazing!!! We are happy that ticket sales for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day at 6 Flags Magic Mountain next Saturday in Valencia, California are going very well. You can still order them on line for $25 each plus $2 handling fee before Friday June 12th at www.facebook.com/l/;wrad.org. It is a joint WRAD/GLAD event. You can buy the tickets at the door for $27 per person if you choose as we will be there between 9am and 1pm to sell tickets and to give tickets to people who ordered online this week. We will have our WRAD 25th Anniversary Banquet in Las Vegas, Nevada during the Deaf World Expo between July 18-23, 2010. It is going to be a buffet style banquet and more details will be announced later.

We are excited about our upcoming New Year cruise out of Miami from December 28 to January 2, 2010 for 5 days visiting two ports in Cozumel, Mexico and Belize City. We hope you will join us to celebrate New Year with us for the New Year and you do not need to worry about drinking and driving!
