Hi Friends of the WRAD Community!

This is now 2010 and we hope the economy around the world will be much better this year as we want to provide more fun and cultural activities in the deaf and hard of hearing community worldwide!

We need and want more volunteers as they are the backbone in our organization! It is fun to volunteer as you will enrich your experiences and look better when you are looking for a job or new field of employment. WRAD depends on volunteers and we hope you will volunteer for us here or there as you are welcome to plan and host events anywhere in the world. Please VOLUNTEER and you will have the everlasting benefits and rewards when you volunteer.

This is our 25th year and we are excited to have the Masquerade Ball at Treasure Island In Las Vegas on July 21st. We also have other events and activities lined up for you and some of you wonder why we are not having events elsewhere other than the East coast of the USA or in Europe, for example, it is because you need to VOLUNTEER and we are happy to help you host the event with our guidance. We welcome affiliates to the WRAD organization and hope you are a member of a nonprofit group then we can affiliate. There are NO affiliate dues involved.

We used to have the SCRAD Chapter ( The Southern California Recreation Association of the Deaf) and it has been inactive for some years now. We want for SCRAD to become active again so if you are interested to be on the SCRAD Board or plan SCRAD events, let us know here at WRAD and we can get started again.
