20th Anniversary Event for WRAD, Inc. Lets join WRAD, Inc, their families and friends for a day of fun at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Attractions: Information about deafness will be available in the Park for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. Immerse yourself in movie action in Terminator 2:3D Swing into Action with Shrek 4-D Dare to Face the Revenge of the Mummy- The Ride Deaf and Hard of Hearing Gathering at the Cyper Grill Cafe area throughout the day at the Park. Most shows are closed captioned. Studio Tram Ride will be closed captioned as well as photo scripts will be available for pick up before the ride.

After the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Event at Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park.......

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Evening Gathering at Saddle Ranch Universal Studios at City Walk next to Universal Studios from 6pm until 2am. Come ride the mechancial bulls for a small fee and order dinner or drinks if you like. A portion of the Proceeds Benefit WRAD. A large 17,000 square ft. facility Outdoor Dance Floor and Stage 3 FULL BARS Live Entertainment THREE Mechanical Bulls for you to ride for a small fee 120 36" video monitors and 4 150" Diagonal Big Screens Great choice of dinner to order or just come to drink .


Directions to Citywalk

From the 101 South towards Hollywood:

Take the Lankershim exit and make a left turn off of the ramp onto Cahuenga Boulevard until you reach Universal Studios Boulevard. Make a left onto Universal Studios Boulevard and proceed up the hill to the entrance to CityWalk.

From the 101 North towards Ventura:

Exit Universal Studios Boulevard, and make a right off of the freeway. Proceed up the hill to the entrance to CityWalk.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA):
There is a subway station at Universal City, on the Metro Red Line. Across the street from the subway station is a free shuttle bus. This free shuttle will conveniently take you to CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Studios Hollywood. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes during the following hours:

Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Professionals Happy Hour (DHH-PHH)

We are starting a new group called the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Professionals Happy Hour once a month on the SECOND Friday of the month to meet other professionals in any field for the purpose of exchanging information and to have a good time.

Our fourth gathering will be on Friday May 13th from 5pm until 11pm

BUNGALOW CLUB, 7174 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, California 90046

Social Hour is from 3 to 7pm All Appetizers is $5, Cosmos $5, Mojitos $5, Draft beer $3 The Club is centrally located in Hollywood on the corner of Melrose and Formosa.
