In Memory of Gino Guidice

1932 - 2009

A great friend of the WRAD community and a true Hollywood legend as a deaf artist, Eugene Guidice, of Hollywood, California also known as Gino passed away last Saturday March 7, 2009 at the age of 76 after years of heart trouble. For many years he helped with the WRAD Halloween Costume Balls as he himself was a great artist. He also worked for the movie and TV industry in Hollywood for many years (Hanna Barbara company) before his retirement years ago and was a great friend in the deaf and hard of hearing community. He will be missed by many of us as a great friend, artist, and teacher in the community. He was very talented in art and had great taste in clothes and decorations. He was Italian and always looked great when he attended social and cultural events. He also had Christmas parties at his home for his friends and loved to decorate his house, especially his beautiful Christmas trees.

We all are going to miss Gino terribly but trust that he is at peace now looking at us from heavens.
